Mailing addresses, email addresses, or phone numbers for our customers are kept in our database strictly for contacting our own customers regarding their transactions, to inform them of sales, offers, new products or changes in our business. Our site is also tested regularly by ControlScan to ensure it remains secure from hackers.
Even we do not see credit card information for orders placed online. The transaction is conducted directly between the customer and our merchant account provider, Wells Fargo Bank, via a secure shopping cart.
Our web server’s log files allow us to view statistics about how many visitors use our website, what pages are most viewed, etc. Individual visitors are differentiated using “cookies.” Cookies do not allow us to gather any personal information about you. They are simply very small text documents, often including anonymous unique identifiers that are stored on your computer’s hard drive. Each website you visit can send its own unique cookie to your browser, if your computer settings allow it.
